Scholars & Students
Summer Scholars
In order to reach out to young scholars beyond the five universities involved in this program, the summer scholar program provides opportunities to include more diverse intellectual viewpoints and to increase the profile and productivity of the program. This program also provides opportunity to young junior scientists (post-doctoral level) to learn the state-of–the-art of multidisciplinary research methods and technique for analyzing data from China and Nepal.

Graduate Students
To create a new generation of scientists able to advance the complex field of population-environment investigation this program provides training opportunities to undergraduate and graduate students from the respective universities. These students will have opportunity to get involved in ongoing research in China and Nepal, and will learn the state-of–the-art of multidisciplinary research methods and techniques for data collection and data analysis. These students will be trained in culturally appropriate setting specific research methods, language, and health safety and travel tips. These setting specific skills and collaborative relationships are expected to foster the new international research in the population and environment field.
